Cinderella's Sister 1-6@3:24 PM

So far I've been watching Cinderella's Sister lately. The plot hasn't taken for a "revenge" plot yet. It's still pretty light considering I heard people were crying their eyeballs out for this drama. I'm guessing it has nothing on 1 Litre of Tears though. So I think I'll be okay.


So far the plot line. Is pretty cliche. I mean... Yeah. Girl is cynical about world. Cruel to side girl character. Side girl character comes to hate her. Guy cracks her shell. Guy leaves. Comes back. Pretty typical. I feel like the characters don't change much at all between the 8 year gap. That's just unrealistic. I do like the acting okay though.

Characters: 

Moon Geun Young (Eun Jo) - Despite her being the "I'll trust no one everything sucks" character. She has pretty good reason. If you see her mom being messed up like that and whatever. And the biggest thing is that Moon's acting is Believable. I rather like her character. It has some depth. If you think about it, she's just a hurt teen/young adult. Despite the fact I don't really enjoy the cliche. I do like this character. Props to you Moon.

Seo Woo (Hyo Seon) - I liked her innocent girl act at first. Sure she overdoes it a bit. She's a character without much depth though. Even now, she's turning "bitter/wanting revenge" process. She still has no brains. Sometimes I feel like she's a confused character. She doesn't know which one to be. Acting's not believable enough for me. While she has a pretty face, her acting definitely loses to Moon's.

Chun Jung Myung ( Ki Hoon) - His acting made me lulz. His character doesn't match up to his actions. I have no clue what he's doing half the time. Sure he's put on quite a show and had some good lines. I feel like his character is inconsistent though. He's either the "I hate the world" type person or he's the "good humored" person. I guess his character is supposed to have that facade. But I'm not buying it. And I don't see why he has to be so sentimental. He's like the girl of this series.

Taecyeon (Jung Woo) - His role made me WTF the most. I swear. First of all, how is it possible that everyone in the drama looks exactly the same except for him? You can argue puberty, but I don't see it. Just extremely unrealistic. I guess they needed someone to fulfill the "ugly duckling to beautiful swan" cliche, but it just didn't work for me. Seeing as this is Taec's first drama. I guess I can't say much about his acting. First off, he hasn't had many lines yet. But I swear all his expressions are the same. I guess his character is supposed to be simple, good role for a beginner actor. But at this point he's just a boring character with a pretty face.

Predictions -


  1. Eun Jo and Hyo Seon's dad is going to die. I just know it. And then their mom is going to go batshit crazy. 
  2. Also. After the dad dies. All of the people are screwed. And end up on the streets or something. Or at least Eun Jo. Cause obviously modernized Cinderella is gonna be like that.
  3. Taec is going to end up being the "nice character" and just the good friend of Eun Jo. Even if he likes her. 
  4. Hyo Seon is going to go batshit crazy soon and try to destroy Eun Jo at every possible chance. 
  5. There's going to be a sad sob story about how Hyo Seon steals Ki Hoon and then there'll be lots of crying. 
  6. Taec will be there to attempt to support Moon when Ki Hoon is stolen

I guess my expectations were pretty high for the first couple of episodes, they were okay, pretty light and all. But just not very plotty. Judging from the ratings the drama will start getting intense for the last like... 4 episodes. I look forward to a plot twist soon. I swear if there's no twist soon I'm going to get bored to tears.
