Cinderella's Sister 7-12@7:51 PM
This drama. Is. So. Slow. I'm going to like mash my head up against the wall. No joke. I'm like so bored of this. All of the people who told me this drama was insanely good, yeah I took their advice and watched it. But man. I'm more than half way through. And I feel like this drama is gonna kill me. The plot is slow. And somewhat actually predictable. I'm actually considering dropping this whole dang drama. If I keep watching. The only thing that's keeping me watching is Taec.
Characters -
I'm going to have to say my favorite character right now is actually
Kang Sook. I mean. Sure she's a horrible beeeesh. But like. That's how she's supposed to be. And she has more layers than the typical villain. She's actually somewhat of a softie. But looks out more for herself, I think it's to build that "wall" between her and people. In the beginning of the drama, she seemed slightly stupid or whatever, but she's actually rather manipulative. Although still stupid. I love her though. She plays a good evil stepmother.
My next favorite character would have to be
Joon Soo he's not useful. He's just eyecandy to me. This is why you put small children in dramas. They're just cute, and sit there, they're the redeeming feature of a failing drama.
My other liked character was
Dae Sung . It's ridiculous that I like the old people, and the little people. But he's just so nice and gentle. He seemed kinda.... I dunno. Funny at times. He has that old person warmth.
My favorite out of the four of the important people would have to be
Taecyeon (or rather the guy he's playing, but this makes more sense for me. xD...) He's just cute and like a puppy, like he's supposed to be. He's also protective, and just naive and simple minded. I somewhat like it. I thought the "bread-pin" thing was really endearing. And that it was a metaphor for him protecting
Eun Jo.
Basically. I have complaints about all the other three characters.
Hyo Seon is the better one. At least we get to see her character shine through, sure she's a bit bipolar from her personality in the beginning half of when they got older. But it's because she's playing the hurt puppy role right now. I rather like it. Her lines I mean.
Ki Hoon on the other hand. Constantly is bipolar. And shifting from. "OH I'M JUST A STUPID NICE GUY" to "OH. I'M JUST A STUPID GUY WITH A PAST THAT IS A TOTAL JERK". Seriously. MAKE UP YOUR MIND.
Eun Jo. I remember saying I liked her. Yeah I guess I like seeing her soft side. It's rather well played out by Moon. But like... Her tantrums are starting to bother me. Her shaking of head, flailing and endless screaming is bothering me. Why can't she get angry like a normal person? Why does she have to flail, scream and shake her head profusely? I DON'T GET IT.
-------------------
I am going to say that. Overall that this drama is slowly getting better and better. The part where
Eun Jo kept screaming "Father, Father" and apologizing was the saddest scene so far for me. It made me like
Eun Jo more and more. The more she opens up the more I like her. I get tired of her tantrum throwing brat role. That was good for like... the first 5 episodes. Maybe. But that was when she was in like... 8th grade. She's an adult now... Urgh. I'm hoping this drama gets better... Like. FAST.
